Who am I?
No one in particular
Why write? Because
I am an everyone
a nothing to some and
a someone to none.
I am known,
yet anonymous
an aspiring actress from
birth to grave on
The Unpredictable Stage of Days:
a daughter, a sister, a mother, a teacher, friend or foe, a sometimes poet or writer of prose, a hoarder of knowledge, a glutton of life, romantically handicapped and at one time
a wife.

Act III, is a soliloquy
loose leaves falling from
a po·e·try
no taut lines
or intricacies of verse
only me and my words
for better or worse.
I am...

A Lone Traveler
A solitary spirit
Effeminate in form
Asphalting miles of memories
Trodding many a storm:
Intellectual roads
Laid with diamonds and dust
Carnal paths
Laced with rubies and lust
Spiritual trails
Blazed with topaz and morrow
Avenues of the heart
Paved with onyx and sorrow
The soles of my feet
Blistered and worn
Walk boldly towards the sunset
Where a phoenix awaits the morn
As yesterdays dissipate into uncolored air
A distant dawn rides the winds of a prayer
