The Art of Tea and Poetry

The Art of Tea and Poetry

New Meaning

Strange, mysterious shadows
Gather all around
Prodding me to propagate
Anew from my being’s ground.

I feel like a seedling
Dreaming of blooming flowers,
Calling upon distant clouds
For nourishing showers.

A river begins to flow,
Humming a song in my core;
Rippling through verdurous veins,
Reaching and laving my shore.

I shake and tremble like a bud
On the verge of blossoming and blooming,
My shadow peels off like a slough,
Letting me shine with new meaning
