The Art of Tea and Poetry

Molecules of Moments... A Poetry in Pieces

Pinch of Pepper:
Molecules of Moments in a poetry in pieces. Night begets Dawn. Dawn begets Day. Day dies diligently as she falls into Dusk. Twilight diminishes her lingering light into mystical molecules of obsidian Night.

Artemis peeks through the curtains of Night
ascending the stairs to her balcony of beams
leaning over the balustrade
she pulls back her bow to
catch faceless dreams
Jasmine climbs the trellises of trees
seeking light stolen by disobedient leaves as
tendrils titillate moments of monotony

A choir of nightingales
sing Agnus Dei to
Barber's Adagio for Strings in
treetop cathedrals
dissevering Siamese souls at birth
an aging and disheartened Earth

An unfinished requiem chiseled in stone
paths of a wolf carved into form
the destiny of a day drips into the dust of
D minor dungeons echoing regret
off rusted walls of innocence

Rococo realities on wall-papered galleries
Poems stumbling into tapestries of mime
Algernon's Victorian roses and poses
Shades of black shimmering through
crystals of rime
Droplets of dark on mirrors that don't know me
A slither of silver steals a single pulse of pain
Undressing a promise Light strips Night
A modest star
Pulls down the sky
